Library is subscribing to following online databases viz., EconLit, JSTOR, CMIE-Prowess, Indiastat.com, EPW, World Bank e-Library, ISID, etc. and others are free online databases.
EconLit with Full Text contains all of the indexing available in EconLit, plus full text for nearly 600 journals, including the American Economic Association journals with no embargo (American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Literature, Journal of Economic Perspectives, and the four American Economic Journal titles). This database also contains many non-English full-text journals in economics and finance. Volume and issue browsing is available for all full-text.

Prowess from Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) is a database of large and medium Indian firms. It contains detailed information on over 20,000 firms. These comprise - All companies traded on India's major stock exchanges and Several others including the central public sector enterprises. The database covers most of the - Organised industrial activities; Banking and Organised financial and other services sectors in India. Prowess provides detailed information on each company. This includes a normalised database of the financials covering 1,500 data items and ratios per company. Besides, it provides quantitative information on - Production, Sales, Consumption of raw material and Energy. Totally, the number of indicators per company is close to two thousand. Such information is usually available for over ten years. The database is available in the Library on single user license and it is available for access in the reference section. Economic & Political Weekly (EPW), published by the Sameeksha Trust, is one of the Indian publications that enjoy a global reputation for excellence and scholarship. It occupies a special place in the intellectual history of independent India. It publishes analysis of contemporary affairs and academic papers in the social sciences. The focus of the EPW is economic issues, but it is truly a multidisciplinary publication covering political science, sociology, history, gender and environment studies. World Development Indicators (WDI), updated regularly. Free access to a segment of the WDI Online database, an extensive collection of data about development. The WDI provides a comprehensive selection of economic, social and environmental indicators, drawing on data from the World Bank and more than 30 partner agencies. Political Science Complete (PSC) provides full text for more than 520 journals, and indexing and abstracts for over 2,900 titles, (including top-ranked scholarly journals), many of which are unique to the product. PSC has a worldwide focus, reflecting the globalization of contemporary political discourse. The database also features over 340 full-text reference books and monographs, and over 36,000 full-text conference papers, including those of the International Political Science Association. PSC includes a subject-specific thesaurus with over 17,500 terms (7,366 preferred and 10,175 non-preferred terms), to provide subject searching guidance to researchers. POPLINE®(POPulation information onLINE) contains citations with abstracts to scientific articles, reports, books, and unpublished reports in the field of population, family planning, and related health issues. POPLINE is maintained by the K4Health Project at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health/Center for Communication Programs and is funded by the United States Agency for International Development. (USAID). POPLINE has nearly 370,000 records and has been maintained since 1973 by the K4Health Project (formerly INFO Project). The majority of items are published from 1970 to the present, however, there are selected citations dating back to 1827. The database adds 8,000 records annually. In addition to free text searching, the database can be searched by keywords from the POPLINE Thesaurus , a controlled vocabulary of 2,400+ terms used to index documents in the database. J-Gate is an electronic gateway to global e-journal literature. Launched in 2001 by Informatics India Limited, J-Gate provides seamless access to millions of journal articles available online offered by 12,356 Publishers. It presently has a massive database of journal literature, indexed from 41,125 e-journals with links to full text at publisher sites.
