Abstract
Can vocational education solve the problem of child labour? By this we mean, are the existing facilities in the form of effective infrastructure, facilities and reach of the vocational education a solution to the question of child labour? This requires a comprehensive examination of the problem. The question involves a certain assumption that in the prevailing situation child labourers possesses an adequate level of awareness about and access to vocational education in the first place. Here, we attempt to examine some of these dimensions of vocational education, as they exist now.
