Academic Qualification

Dr. Thomas Felix K completed his SSLC from St. Antony’s Boys Higher Secondary School in 2007 with a score of 86.40%. He then pursued his Higher Secondary education at Vidhya Vikas Boys Higher Secondary School, graduating in 2009 with 84.70%.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture) from Thanthai Roever Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development, in 2013, securing 79.90%. He went on to complete his Master of Science in Agricultural Economics (M.Sc.) at the Agricultural College and Research Institute, graduating in 2015 with 86.20%.

Further advancing his academic career, Dr. Thomas Felix K earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Agricultural College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in 2018, with an impressive 88.70%.

In addition to his academic degrees, he has cleared several competitive eligibility tests. He qualified the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) NET in Agricultural Economics in both 2017 and 2018, with scores of 51.33% and 50%, respectively. He also cleared the University Grants Commission (UGC) NET in Economics in 2017 with 53.71%, and the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET) in Economics the same year with 57.06%. Also a recipient of the UGC-Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) for Ph.D. studies and the ICSSR Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
