ISEC has taken up to digitize valuable and rare documents in social sciences which are in the interest to researchers of archival value and preservation of documents for future use. ISEC gratefully acknowledges the financial assistance from Government of Karnataka towards this initiative. Digitization would involve acquiring, converting, storing and providing information in a computer format that is standardized, organized and available on demand from computer system. With specialized scanner's, documents are converted into compressed digital files and stored in a server systematically for future reference.
