Professor R S Deshpande, has been awarded as Fellow of the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics

Prof Deshpande has been bestowed the honour of the 'Indian Society of Agricultural Economics' Fellow Award in the 71st Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics along with Dr Y.K. Alagh at Dharwad for his life time achievement in the field of Agricultural Economics. This has happened for the first time in the 80 year history of ISAE. It is a matter of great pride for all of us in the ISEC, for such a high recognition is accorded.

Professor P G Chengappa, National Professor ICAR at ISEC has been elected unanimously as President of the 72nd Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics in the ISAE Conference held at Dharwad. It is a very significant event for us all at ISEC to be proud of the honour given to Prof Chengappa as President Elect of the Conference.
